Global Game Jam

Global Game Jam is another popular game jam that brings together developers from around the world. It’s held annually in January and challenges developers to create a game based on a theme in 48 hours.

Ectocomp:

Ectocomp is an annual lighthearted and fun interactive game jam held in October, in celebration for Halloween. You can participate by submitting your own ghost story or Halloween-inspired adventure in English, French, or Spanish. Participants can explore various sub-themes, such as supernatural tales or spooky adventures, and get feedback and votes from the community.

Nordic Game Jam

Nordic Game Jam is a 48-hour game jam that brings together developers from around the world. It’s held annually in Copenhagen, Denmark, and challenges developers to create a game based on a theme. The next Nordic Game Jam will be held in 18-21 April 2024.

GMTK Game Jam

GMTK Game Jam is itch.io's biggest jam. It’s an annual game-making event that brings together creators from around the world to build amazing games in just 48 hours. Hosted by the popular YouTube channel GMTK, this jam showcases some of the most innovative and imaginative game designs out there.
